This “dementia friendly” Assisted Living project comprises 30 individual flats arranged around a hub of shared social facilities open to the wider community. These connect with the neighbouring streets and look out over a south facing private garden courtyard. The layout is designed to maximise natural light, facilitate ease of orientation, and encourage informal interactions to help reduce the social isolation that can affect older people.
