A series of extensions to a traditional Aberdeenshire property has transformed its relationship to mature garden surroundings. The house previously felt dark and disconnected from its fantastic setting, and the client, a botanist, wanted the feel of the outdoors to flood into their home. Extensive glazing, feature trusses, and warm natural finishes combine to create a series of inside/outside spaces from which the garden can be enjoyed throughout the seasons.
