In a prominent position close to Montrose High Street and overlooking Montrose Basin, this project redevelops the site of a former stables building to create two modern mews-type dwellings. A relationship to the existing context has been established by simply continuing the line of the remaining barn buildings, whilst the glazed end gable reflects the form of the adjacent sheltered housing and opens up to the views beyond.
