This project was a house ‘extension’ with a difference. Rather than expanding out into the garden, the client purchased the neighbouring house, the other half of their semi-detached property. The challenge here was to produce a unified family house, rather than 2 disparate parts linked together. This has been achieved by forming a large double height living/kitchen/dining space with feature stair and new hardwood floor flowing throughout.
