The King George V Docks Stormwater tank forms a major component of the River Tay flood defence scheme. The contemporary design is deliberately urban and ‘massive’ in character to compliment the new housing and commercial development that is growing into the area whilst being in keeping with the scale of the historic structures surrounding the dockyard.
