This playful extension to the Institute of Sport and Exercise at the University of Dundee creates a new identity for the facilities, transforming the low-lying sports complex which was in danger of being lost amongst new larger scale campus developments. The new entrance foyer resolves various level changes and associated accessibility difficulties, and contains a bold articulated staircase connecting 3 floors of studios, gyms and squash courts.
