Nicoll Russell Studios were part of a team asked by Stirling University to develop a masterplan for an under-utilised area between the main university campus and the Wallace Monument. The aim of the study was to establish how both existing buildings and sites for future development could be best utilised to realise the enormous potential of the site as a growing Innovation Park. The strategy adopted sought to respond sensitively to the historic context by creating a landscaped park at the heart of the development with critical views maintained to the Wallace Monument.
