Suitable spaces for physical theatre, street arts, circus and aerial work is in short supply despite growing demand, and is restricting the growth of this sector in Scotland. This project proposes to use the height and volume within mothballed spaces in Glasgow’s Briggait to meet the specialist needs of these artforms, creating 7 purpose-built studios, one of which accommodates flying trapeze.
