Grianan, Dundee Technology Park

When completed, the Grianan building represented a significant departure from the lightweight ‘shed’ approach of typical business park developments prevalent until that point. Conceptually, this building grew from its surroundings, a remnant trace of a stone built cottage that once occupied the site. It is strongly anchored into its setting by robust natural stone walls that form an entrance courtyard, complemented by elegant glazed pavilion forms which serenely overlook the beauty of the landscaped surroundings.
