Scrymgeour Annexe

University of Dundee

Completed in summer 2000, the Scrymgeour Building extension offers teaching, research and laboratory facilities to support the needs of the University of Dundee's Psychology Department.

Located on a tight site between Dundee Rep, the Bonar Hall and the existing Scrymgeour Building, the new addition compliments its neighbours and animates a hitherto uninviting rear courtyard space. Basement accommodation is given over to Dundee Rep to provide additional workshop space.

This simple building form was developed on time and on budget following a rigorous process of consultation with the end user and Client.
