University of St Andrews
A major part of our first phase of LTIF (Learning and Teaching Infrastructure Fund) projects was the full strip out and refurbishment of an existing physics lecture theatre in a 1960ís building for University of St Andrews. The project involved the complete renewal of finishes and teaching provisions, new demonstration bench, lectern and new state of the art AV provisions including AMX touch-screen control of lighting and dual data projection. New fixed seating was provided for 81 persons.
The design and construction period was completed between June and September 2006 and relied on excellent liaison and good team-working with the main contractor. The projects, along with 3 others, were completed on time and on budget and led to our appointment on other projects for the University.
